Population Mean Formula
The population mean formula gives the average value of the whole population. It is identical to the arithmetic mean formula, except that the arithmetic mean formula uses the -bar symbol to indicate that only part of the population is being used to calculate the mean.

The standard deviation formula calculates the standard deviation of population data. The standard deviation value is denoted by the symbol σ (sigma) and measures how far the data is distributed around the population's mean.
